AKIS Management Systems Solutions is a software based firm with 15 years experience in manufacturing and the public/private sector. We specialize in areas of Health and Safety & Environment, Quality, and Human Resources systems for public/private and sector users. AKIS primary focus is in developing software applications with unique interfacing platforms to improve overall system performance.

How does AKIS identify software development needs? We develop software through sampling/auditing industry practices to identify critical system functions failures. Predominantly, the failures are due to lack of knowledge regarding a specific system function such as accident investigation reporting. In many instances these functions are performed well by individuals that have extensive training (Health and Safety Managers), but not by all intended frontline users such as shift supervisory staffs.

Our Vision

AKIS vision is twofold. First, to develop unique software applications for specific system requirements that reduces complexity and enable the user to navigate through various systems tasks easily. Secondly, to use existing technologies to integrate the software in an extremely accessible fashion, both through the interface and "ease of use" functionality. This "ease of use" mentality improves overall reporting and data collection, while reducing long run liability. In essence the AKIS application software can be viewed as Liability Reduction Software. The software improves and increases competency through helpful guidance tools that fill in user knowledge gaps.
